About the Project

Our Goal

We want to make a real impact by providing young people and youth workers with the tools to understand, manage and overcome the emotional barriers associated with environmental issues, building a resilient and aware community.

The project aims to:

Assessment Tools and Comprehensive Needs Analysis

The project will deliver an in-depth analysis of "eco-anxiety literacy" (EAL) gaps among vulnerable groups. This involves the creation of a standardised assessment tool distributed to young migrants (aged 16-25) and youth workers. The resulting comprehensive report will highlight specific knowledge gaps, evaluate existing support mechanisms, and outline targeted opportunities to enhance youth work practices in each national context.

The Greenwell Resource Book and Educational Programme

A core outcome is the development of a tailored, non-formal educational methodology and the "Greenwell Resource Book".

This comprehensive guide will equip youth workers and organisations with practical strategies, interactive exercises, and coping mechanisms to successfully build eco-anxiety resilience among young migrants.

Training Curricula and Capacity Building

The project expects to significantly improve the competencies of youth professionals through tailored training curricula.

Furthermore, the project will host 15 local multiplier events designed to directly engage and empower young migrants, helping them to develop vital coping strategies and mental health resilience.
